Music has always been a big part of Sean’s life, and he believes that “fate” lead him to KPRS. He actually was a Pre-Med major at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. It was 1988, when got his start in radio through an internship program at KPRS “like no other in the world”. Sean was in promotions when he began at KPRS, going out to do live broadcasts throughout the city. He moved on to a part time on-air position and was the very familiar voice of the “Quiet Storm. In 1998, Sean headed for the morning show, “The Breakfast Brothers”.
Sean is a personality that is recognized, especially after 12 years in the business! Many colleagues and friends say, “He is known for his pranks and jokes, you never know when he’ll strike! That kind of personality keeps Sean at the top in radio. Though playful, Sean is serious about his career. He says his mentor is none other than Mr. Chris King, who has been with KPRS for over 30 years. “He has the smoothest voice in radio”, says Sean.
When asked about how he likes to spend his free time, Sean says, “Whoa, nobody said I was supposed to get ‘free time’, someone get my agent on the phone!”
